TAX CLEARANCE: We will drop it if it's not going to cause issues --- OSPOLY Rector

The Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Dr Woye Olaniran has stated that the Polytechnic is willing to drop the requirement for tax clearances as part of the criteria for file submission if it does not become an issue.

The rector stated this in a phone interview with Pijaonline today, July 14th, 2021, adding that Osun's reputation as Nigeria's most peaceful state will not be jeopardised by tax clearance concerns.

"It's not an issue; If it's not going to become an issue... we'll no longer use it, nevertheless, if it's going to be an issue we will drop it. We don't want any issues in the state." He stated.

Moreover, he promised to meet with the institution's executive members today to address the issue.

However, the students await the outcome of the meeting.
