The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has directed all 2020/2021 Daily Part-Time (DPT) students to proceed to the jamb office for registration to be properly enrolled on JAMB's Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), adding that failure to do so may result in admission difficulties.

This was contained in a memo released today, August, 31st, 2021 and signed by the institution's Admission Officer, Mrs M. O. Adeleke.

According to the official memo,"...I have been directed to inform all 2020/2021 Daily Part-Time students to go to JAMB office for registration for them to be properly admitted on JAMB CAPS."

It will be recalled that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had introduced the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) platform to automate and control the Admissions Process into the tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

In furtherance of that, the memo also stretched that the Introduction of JAMB CAPS had necessitated that all admission must be through JAMB CAPS.

"The Introduction of JAMB CAPS has made it mandatory that all admission must be through JAMB CAPS."

Moreover, DPT students have been warned to comply strictly with the instructions to avoid admission problems.

"Any student who fails to comply with this directive will not be able to regularise his/her admission and this can generate problems for him/her in future." The memo warned.
