OSPOLY: “I DID NOT EAT BEFORE COMING FOR THE SCREENING REGISTRATION” {DPT} COLLAPSED STUDENT SAYS AFTER BEING DISCHARGED

The female Business Administration ND1 student from Osun State Polytechnic's Daily Part-Time (DPT) program, Iree, who collapsed while mounting a Motorcycle on Thursday has expressed the cause of her fall. 


It would be recalled that NEB had reported about the case of the student who collapsed and was immediately rushed to the institution's medical centre.


The Student while speaking with NEB reporters today, Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 at the Business Administration Department noted that she skipped breakfast to attend the screening registration exercise.  


Additionally, she stress further that during the screening registration process, she was not attended to, and that she was ready to leave for home when she collapsed. 


However, following her release from the medical center, the student praised the school's medical center


"I’m really really grateful to OSPOLY Medical Centre, I was treated immediately and was given a drip and some drugs, I also thank God for the immediate treatment given to me by the nurses at the Medical Centre”. 


"l also appreciate all the curious students who rescued me during the incident, especially a guy who was said to have carried me instantly. I want everyone to thank  him for me." She stated

OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

 By: Mistura Mustapha The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have directed all student of the Daily Part Time (DPT) studies for mandatory counselling programme, warns that failure to comply strictly attached sanction.      This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today, Friday 13th September, 2024 REF No: OSPOLY/SAO/89 which was signed by Mr. Oyedeji M.O, stated that it is mandatory and imperative for all DPT students both ND 1 and ND 2 to make themselves available for the exercise which is scheduled between Monday, 23rd September to Monday 28th October, 2024.             "All students are expected to undergo mandatory counselling exclude no one" memo emphasized.         Furthermore, according to the memo,  noted that time table will be drawn on Faculty basis for collection and submission of Counseling Registration forms from the counselling unit. " Please adhere strictly with this directives failure to comply will attract sanctions" memo warned
