FFS Orientation Programme holds, Director congratulates Students; OSPOLY

The Faculty of Financial Studies (FFS) of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) program, of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has held its Orientation Program for the 2022/2023 Academic Session organized for 8th of May, 2023.
The activity that was held to introduce the new students to the FFS officeholders' 2022/2023 administration in a setting overseen by the institution's management attracted the ND1/ND2 students and took place today in Hall 15 of the institution.
The event which enticed the ND1/ ND2 students was held today, at Hall 3 in koko campus of which the event was to introduce the 2022/2023 regime of the FFS officeholders to the new students in a program presided by the management of the institution.
In his address at the Orientation, the Director of the institution, Mr Oseni Muftau Adebayo congratulated the students. In his remarks, “I'm happy for you fresh students and I congratulate you for being granted admission into this institution, remember that your primary aim in this Institution is to acquire knowledge”
He stressed that the student should be focused on the initial intent of their studentship which is to study and become one of the best students in their various fields of study. He also charged them to abstain from other non-official activities advising that if anyone was found blameworthy would be ultimately dismissed. In his words, “It is good that you are here and it will not be good that you are no longer here again, You've come here to attain a certificate. Start being serious, lay a good foundation for yourself because the new student is doing 6 semesters therefore, attend lectures, read your notes and study it often and you'll see your grade excellently“
Moreso, the Coordinator of Accountancy, Mrs Adebisi implores the student to refrain from anything that can implicate them during their examinations and also charged to abstain from indecent dressing, immoral acts and rough hairstyles stressing that the students should do the right thing at the right time by obtaining all the necessary receipts recommended by the institution in other to avoid issues.
In the same vein, the President of the Faculty of Financial Studies, Hon. Com. Ajagbe Sunday O. Congratulated the students and charged them to join academic clubs that align with their interests and passions noting that, it will develop new skills and also provide them an opportunity to network with their colleagues and professionals in the industry.
Additionally, he stressed that students should value their academic careers in the institution. In his statements, “Take your lectures seriously, attend lectures, do tests, and always read ahead because you cannot bypass any academic activities in this school, even the lecturers won’t answer you” he said
