OSPOLY: FMS holds Orientation Programme, Deputy Director warns students against social vices

The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) program, of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, today held its Orientation Program for the 2022/2023 Academic Session scheduled for 8th of May, 2023.


The event which attracted the ND1/ ND2 students was held today, 9th of May, 2023 at the Institution Hall 2 in koko campus of which the event was to introduce the 2022/2023 regime of the FMS administrators to the new students in a program presided by the management of the institution. 


In his address at the Orientation, the Deputy Director of the institution, Eng. Bisiriyu Ademola O. urged the students to refrain from all Social Vices which can terminate their studentship in the institution noting that academics do not stand alone, it goes alongside effective time management and scheduling of work


He said that emerging the ladder of success goes along with relentless work, and also encouraged the students to prepare ahead of their forthcoming examination. 


However, the Coordinator of the Business Administration Department, Mrs Adeyemi advised the students never to relent in their academic pursuits. 


Additionally, the Faculty President, Hon. Com. Ajayi Kehinde Emmanuel stated in his speech that the students should be determined in their pursuit of academic goals as education is the bridge that opens space for many opportunities to become a successful person in life. 


 He furthermore stated that the students should refrain from all acts that can implicate them in their academic career in the institution. He said, “Shun any act of violence, cultism, and examination malpractice.”


In a similar vein, the immediate past(IP) President of the Faculty of Business Administration, Hon. Com. Kosemani Jubril congratulated the Newly Admitted Students and also encouraged them to attend classes to avoid having challenges at the end of the semester.

OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

 By: Mistura Mustapha The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have directed all student of the Daily Part Time (DPT) studies for mandatory counselling programme, warns that failure to comply strictly attached sanction.      This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today, Friday 13th September, 2024 REF No: OSPOLY/SAO/89 which was signed by Mr. Oyedeji M.O, stated that it is mandatory and imperative for all DPT students both ND 1 and ND 2 to make themselves available for the exercise which is scheduled between Monday, 23rd September to Monday 28th October, 2024.             "All students are expected to undergo mandatory counselling exclude no one" memo emphasized.         Furthermore, according to the memo,  noted that time table will be drawn on Faculty basis for collection and submission of Counseling Registration forms from the counselling unit. " Please adhere strictly with this directives failure to comply will attract sanctions" memo warned
