OSPOLY: FSC holds Orientation Programme, Director Advises Students Over Negative Influences

The Faculty of Science (FSC) of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) program, of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has officially held its Orientation Program for the 2022/2023 Academic Session organized for 10th of May, 2023.


The activity that was held to introduce the new students to the FSC officeholders for the 2022/2023 administration in a setting overseen by the institution's management attracted the ND1/ND2 students and took place today in Hall 10 building of the institution.


In his address at the Orientation, the Director of the institution, Alhaji Oseni M.O congratulates the students and charged them to abstain from all Social Vices which can terminate their studentship in the institution noting that academics do not stand alone, it goes alongside adequate time and scheduling of work. 


Oseni encouraged the students to study in advance of their upcoming exams, stressing that ascending the ladder of achievement requires never-ending effort.


However, the Coordinator of the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), Mr Odushina counselled the students never to relent in their academic pursuits and directed them to flee from indecent dressing, and immoral acts that can incriminate their studentship in the institution. 


In a new development, the Faculty President, Hon. Com. Iyun Samuel in an interview with NEB Correspondence that the students should be determined in their pursuit of academic goals as education is the bridge that opens space for many opportunities to become a successful person in life. 


 He furthermore stated that the sensational orientation is to unite the students with the Faculty and Departmental Executives and noted that it's to show the students the reality on campus through the word of advice from the academic fathers in the institution. 


“We have sensational orientation for the students and also to bring love and harmony between the students on campus and to also show them what life is on campus  while we make them adapt to the academic activities on campus” he stated


In a limited agenda, Some students from the faculty also stressed the effect of the orientation program with a display of Quizzes and debates organised by the Faculty executives to facilitate Unity and Love between one another.

OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

 By: Mistura Mustapha The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have directed all student of the Daily Part Time (DPT) studies for mandatory counselling programme, warns that failure to comply strictly attached sanction.      This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today, Friday 13th September, 2024 REF No: OSPOLY/SAO/89 which was signed by Mr. Oyedeji M.O, stated that it is mandatory and imperative for all DPT students both ND 1 and ND 2 to make themselves available for the exercise which is scheduled between Monday, 23rd September to Monday 28th October, 2024.             "All students are expected to undergo mandatory counselling exclude no one" memo emphasized.         Furthermore, according to the memo,  noted that time table will be drawn on Faculty basis for collection and submission of Counseling Registration forms from the counselling unit. " Please adhere strictly with this directives failure to comply will attract sanctions" memo warned
