By: Tumininu Ojetunde It was a devastating day for the students of the Department of Mass Communication at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. They received heartbreaking news about the untimely death of Comr. EDM Olatona Olanrewaju Olaide, also known as LARRY. As the newly appointed NAMACOS financial secretary and former Governor of stream B, his loss has left everyone in mourning.  According to the account of DPT NAMACOS president, Comr. EDM Adegbite Jeremiah, who was present at the burial, the tragic accident occurred on the Ikirun road around 9pm on the 15th of April, 2024. Larry was returning from Osogbo to Iree when the bike he was riding collided with a trailer. Sadly, Larry did not survive the accident and was laid to rest today at his family house in Ikirun.  The news of Larry's passing has sent shockwaves through the student community, leaving many in disbelief. OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

This was unviewed in an internal memorandum released by the Management and signed by Oyesoro Lawrence, the Director of Part Time  today 14th of November, 2024. Moreso, the memo enjoined the student to  visit their portal to print their examination clearance, proceed to sign at the Daily Part Time Coordinator and Director of Part Time Studies on 25th of November.
