The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Iree Chapter, has created an awareness of the Society in the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Program  environment at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, urged all students to abstain from all acts of indecency.

This was made known during the awareness of the society which was held, today, Thursday, 1st June 2023 at the Institution entrance in Koko Campus, Iree Community.

The Ameer, Abdulazeez Adebari represented by the Public Relations Officer of the Society, Abdulmalik Lawal emphasized that Muslim student's indecent dressing in society is unethical and noted that they should abstain from the act.

“The dress code of most of the students is not encouraging because most of the students just dress as they like, not dressing religiously” he stated

Furthermore, he charged the students  to be focused on the primary pursuit of their studentship which is to study and graduate successfully in their chosen areas of ambition.

In a recent development, the Assistant General Secretary of the Society, Ridwan Olarenwaju Ayanfe, also stated that students must demonstrate their religion to be in collaboration with their academic activities on campus. He also noted that some students, particularly Muslims, who practice their religion at home may become disoriented in school as a result of negative exposure.

“Some students are decent at home but when they get to the school they become wayward and that's why this society is here to bring them back to the religion” he noted

He encouraged the students to focus on their primary objective, shun all forms of indecent dressing in the institution, and however emphasized that the students should ensure they visit the MSSN, Iree Chapter at White Mosque opposite Captain Cook in the Iree Community for encouragement.
