The Students Union Association (SUA) of the Daily Part-Time program, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has urged all students to exercise patience as stakeholders of the institution will meet tomorrow, August 1st, 2023, as scheduled.

This was revealed in a statement issued by the Union and signed by the SUA Chairman through all faculty Presidents, dated today, July 31st, 2023, and obtained by NEB correspondent

The statement declared that the students will benefit from whatever decision was made during the meeting. Also, emphasized that the students should take the necessary time to study and revise any material they have not read while the association awaits the results of tomorrow's meeting.

“However, things are not permanent. The rumors of strike are false, and the Association hereby urges you all to be patient. While the stakeholders of the school are scheduled to meet tomorrow, what we await is the outcome of the meeting.”

“We hope that whatever will be the result of the meeting will favor us all. While we await the outcome of the upcoming meeting, it will be in the best interest of you all to take time to study/revise whatever you have not.” the message read in part

In a similar development, the association advised the students who intended to travel home to wait until Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 for the results of the meeting of the parties who are involved.
