“The news is fake, You are not starting your exam tomorrow” Mass Comm Coordinator Debunks rumours

The Coordinator of the Mass Communication Department, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mrs Igein Omobolaji has debunked rumours that the suspended PT examination would commence tomorrow 27th of July 2023.


Igein on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, while addressing the ND1 Students of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) program on their social media platform (Whatsapp group chat) noted that the suspended examination isn't commencing tomorrow. 


She stressed that the students should proceed to read their books noting that the news circulating that the management would proceed with the DPT examination tomorrow 27th of July, 2023 is unreal. 


“The news is fake.  You are not starting your exam tomorrow” she revealed.


It will be recalled that OSPOLY ASUP members staged a protest at the institution on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, following the suspension of Tajudeen Odetayo as the Rector which affected the ongoing examination of the Daily Part-Time students of the institution. 


This protest, however, led to the stoppage of the examination and closure of the institution, in which the protesting body insisted all academic activities would be suspended till further notice.

OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

 By: Mistura Mustapha The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have directed all student of the Daily Part Time (DPT) studies for mandatory counselling programme, warns that failure to comply strictly attached sanction.      This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today, Friday 13th September, 2024 REF No: OSPOLY/SAO/89 which was signed by Mr. Oyedeji M.O, stated that it is mandatory and imperative for all DPT students both ND 1 and ND 2 to make themselves available for the exercise which is scheduled between Monday, 23rd September to Monday 28th October, 2024.             "All students are expected to undergo mandatory counselling exclude no one" memo emphasized.         Furthermore, according to the memo,  noted that time table will be drawn on Faculty basis for collection and submission of Counseling Registration forms from the counselling unit. " Please adhere strictly with this directives failure to comply will attract sanctions" memo warned
