‘DECISION EXTRACT’
“This is to inform you sir, that the above named Unions have suspended the ongoing industrial action on campus today Friday 11th August 2023.”
“Our members have therefore been directed to resume duty with immediate Effect “
It would be recalled that OSPOLY ASUP members protested at the institution on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in reaction to Dr Tajudeen Odetayo's suspension as the institution’s rector, which had an impact on the school's daily part-time students' proceeding exams.
However, the protest resulted in the cancellation of the DPT examination and the closure of the institution, in which the protesting body stated that all academic activity would be ‘suspended until further notice.’
