JUST IN: “I remain the Osun State University Students’ Union Government President”-Suspended UNIOSUN SUG President

The Students Union President of Osun State University, Comr. Olawoyin Isaac Feranmi has addressed his suspension following the misconduct levied against him by the Students Legislative  Council.


The President through a letter obtained by NEB correspondent on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, expressed dissatisfaction stressing that the way his immediate constituency is distracting the institution by sending a purported and baseless suspension memo to the public is without his awareness as the President towards the suspension 


Moreso, the President while addressing the allegation stated that he didn't receive any query letter regarding the suspension stressing further that he wasn't summoned to any meeting nor any committee was set up to investigate whether he was guilty or not. He noted that some set of power drunkards went against the constitution to suspend him even when the institution was on break. 


“Every aspect of life has its norms and traditions to avoid going astray, the recent made kangaroo beer parlor statement of my suspension and that of the student union secretary is nothing but a mere exercise of futility” the letter read in part


However, Isaac remarked that he remains the President of the union despite the allegations levied against him. 


“I am writing this to let the public aware that I know nothing about their unsustainable baseless allegations and I remain the Osun State University Students’ Union Government President,” he said

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

Ospoly Mgt Announces Disengagement of Part-Time Staff

 By: Tomiwa Obisesan The Management Of Osun state polytechnic, Iree have noticed with Dismay that a Large Percentage Of Part-Time Staff have not been coming to the Office and had been Collecting Unmerited Salaries . This was stated today Saturday, January 18,2025 through an internal memorandum signed by the school registrar Mrs. Foyinsade O. Apara . Furthermore, management had decided to disengage all Part-Time/Contract staff members with effect from Friday, 31st January, 2025 . However, the memo informed all disengaged Part-Time /Contract staff members who are willing to continue with the institution to re-apply through their Head of Department (HOD)/ Head of Unit , (HOU), who in addition would recommend such member of Staff if found . “ Application for Re-Engagement with recommendation letter from HOD/HOU are to be directed to the Registrar and submitted to the Personnel Affairs Office on or before the close of work on Wednesday, 29th January,2025.” the memo noted
