OSPOLY: “DPT Exams Will Take Place on Tuesday”-SUG Reaffirms

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has reaffirmed that the suspended Daily Part-Time program examination will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, 15th August 2023. 

 

In a public statement released today, 14th of August, 2023 by the Union President and co-signed by the executives, reaffirming the commencement of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) examination on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023. The statement emphasized the importance of the exams and assured students of a seamless and fair process during the examination period.

 

However, the release also made an appealing statement regarding the resumption of academic activities on campus starting from Monday, August 14th, 2023 with a strong emphasis on their excitement, stressing that they are eager to recommence their educational endeavors and continue enriching their learning journey after making essential adjustments.

 

Additionally, the statement conveyed the Union's regret regarding the postponement of the scheduled SUG Week, which was originally scheduled to commence tomorrow. Noting that the decision to postpone the event until further notice was made with the utmost consideration for the well-being of all students. And also, emphasized that the decision would allow students to prioritize their studies and seamlessly transition back into the academic routine.

 

The Union's statement also contained an important note, emphasizing that students who are unable to attend the scheduled examinations will be held personally accountable for their absence and the consequences that may arise as a result.

 

The Memo reads;


 “1. Resumption of Academic Activities:

We are thrilled to reaffirm that our campus will reopen today, Monday, 14th August 2023. After a brief period of necessary adjustments, we are eager to resume our academic pursuits and continue our journey of learning.”


“2. Postponement of SUG Week:

Due to the recent developments and the resumption of academic activities, we regret to inform you that the scheduled SUG Week, which was set to commence tomorrow, has been postponed until further notice. We believe this decision is in the best interest of all students, ensuring that we can focus on our studies as we settle back into the academic routine.”


“3. Continuation of Suspended DPT Exams:

The eagerly awaited continuation of the suspended DPT exams will take place on Tuesday, 15th August 2023. We understand the importance of these examinations and are committed to ensuring a seamless and fair process for all students involved.”

OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

 By: Mistura Mustapha The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have directed all student of the Daily Part Time (DPT) studies for mandatory counselling programme, warns that failure to comply strictly attached sanction.      This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today, Friday 13th September, 2024 REF No: OSPOLY/SAO/89 which was signed by Mr. Oyedeji M.O, stated that it is mandatory and imperative for all DPT students both ND 1 and ND 2 to make themselves available for the exercise which is scheduled between Monday, 23rd September to Monday 28th October, 2024.             "All students are expected to undergo mandatory counselling exclude no one" memo emphasized.         Furthermore, according to the memo,  noted that time table will be drawn on Faculty basis for collection and submission of Counseling Registration forms from the counselling unit. " Please adhere strictly with this directives failure to comply will attract sanctions" memo warned
