Osun Speaker Promises protesting Students Says “I will find a lasting solution today, the institution will open on Monday”

The Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Prince Adewale Egbedun, has promised the protesting students immediate intervention and long-lasting remedies toward the reopening of the institution assuring them the institution would reopen on Monday


This he made known today, Thursday, 10th August 2023 during his speech while addressing the protesting students at the front of the Osun State House of the Assembly, Osogbo. 


According to the speaker, a lasting solution would be found to the suspension of academic activities in the institution.


"I think I called the president this morning, he said the protest will be peaceful that is why I encouraged him, I'm assuring you, we are going to seek this today, I'm a student like you, I'm going to intervene today, I'm promising you a lasting solution." He stated."


In reaction to the statement, the President of the Students Union Government of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Azeez Tajudeen Adebayo emphasized that the students will rely on the promise of the speaker. 


"The speaker had spoken we are going to hold him accountable for what he has said." SUG President declared.

OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

 By: Mistura Mustapha The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have directed all student of the Daily Part Time (DPT) studies for mandatory counselling programme, warns that failure to comply strictly attached sanction.      This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today, Friday 13th September, 2024 REF No: OSPOLY/SAO/89 which was signed by Mr. Oyedeji M.O, stated that it is mandatory and imperative for all DPT students both ND 1 and ND 2 to make themselves available for the exercise which is scheduled between Monday, 23rd September to Monday 28th October, 2024.             "All students are expected to undergo mandatory counselling exclude no one" memo emphasized.         Furthermore, according to the memo,  noted that time table will be drawn on Faculty basis for collection and submission of Counseling Registration forms from the counselling unit. " Please adhere strictly with this directives failure to comply will attract sanctions" memo warned
