“Cultism Has No Place In Our Educational Journey”-SUA Chairman Affirms

The Chairman of the Student Union Association (SUA), Daily Part-Time program, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Hon. Com. Ojewale Kehinde Kabeerat, has firmly declared that cultism has no role to play in the educational journey of students within the institution.

 

Addressing a crowd of concerned students during the Quiz competition organized by the union today, 6th November, 2023, the Chairman made the affirmation and expressed deep concern over the growing influence of cultism within schoolsenvironment. Highlighting the detrimental effects of cultism on the educational environment, student welfare, and the overall reputation of educational institutions.


"I must address q critical issue that concerns the well-being of our student community, I urged each and every one of you to shun cultism, it not only jeopardizes your future but also endangers the safety and harmony of our campus; Cultism has no place in our educational journey and I implore you to choosea path of knowledge, tolerance, and unity"


Ojewale emphasized the significance of appropriate dressing, highlighting that one's appearance is a reflection of their character and values. 


In a similar vein, the chairman encouraged all students to work together by showing appreciation, unity, and responsibility in all actions stating that, “we can create a positive, nurturing, and academically enriching environment for everyone.”
