JUST IN: FICT Emerges Victorious in SUA Quiz Competition; FSC, FMS Secure Second, Third Position

In a thrilling display of intellect and knowledge, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) at the Daily Part Time program, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, had emerged as the winners of the highly anticipated SUA Quiz Competition. 


The event, held in the Institution's grand auditorium, witnessed fierce competition among various faculties, with the Faculty of Science (FSC) securing the second position and the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) claiming the third spot.


The SUA Quiz Competition, an annual tradition at the institution, aims to promote academic excellence, foster healthy competition, and celebrate the intellectual prowess of its students. This year's edition attracted participants from different faculties, each vying for the coveted title.


The competition consisted of several challenging rounds, including general knowledge, current affairs, and subject-specific questions. The participants showcased their quick thinking, analytical abilities, and depth of understanding throughout the contest, leaving the audience in awe of their impressive knowledge.


However, it was the students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology who stole the show with their exceptional performance. Demonstrating a remarkable grasp of a wide range of subjects, they consistently answered questions with precision and confidence. Not only did they exhibit an in-depth understanding of their own field, but they also displayed a commendable breadth of knowledge in various other disciplines.


The Faculty of Science (FSC) put up a strong fight, securing the second position with their astute business acumen and strategic thinking. Their well-rounded knowledge and ability to analyze complex scenarios earned them high praise from the judges and the audience alike.


Meanwhile, the students from the Faculty of Sciences showcased their expertise in the field of criminal investigation and scientific analysis, securing the third position. Their meticulous attention to detail and ability to draw logical conclusions impressed both the judges and spectators.


The event was attended by distinguished lecturers, the DAO, Mrs Faniyi, other officials, and students from various faculties. The atmosphere was electric, with cheers and applause reverberating throughout the auditorium as each team battled it out for the top positions.


Hon. Com. Alabetutu Korede, the President of FICT, expressed his delight and pride in her students' outstanding achievement. She remarked, "Our students have once again showcased their brilliance and dedication. Their victory in the SUA Quiz Competition is a testament to their hard work and commitment to academic excellence. Congratulations to the winning team and to all the participants for their incredible efforts."


The winners were awarded trophies, and recognition for their exceptional performance. The event concluded with a sense of camaraderie and a shared appreciation for the pursuit of knowledge and intellectual growth.


The SUA Quiz Competition served as a platform to celebrate the academic prowess of the students at the Daily Part Time program and inspire others to strive for excellence.
