Mixed Reactions As Mgt Reschedules Mass Comm ND2 Project Defense Date, Encourages Student’s Steadfastness

The Management of Mass Communication Department of the Daily Part-Time program at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has scheduled days 13th and 14th of December 2023 for the ND2 final year project defense.


The defense date which was previously scheduled to take place on the 19th and 20th of December 2023, welcomed a change for the 13th and 14th of December 2023 in a release made available to all students and signed by the head of the Department, Dr Idowu Akinrosoye and co-signed by Mrs Igein Omobolaji through the Department President, Oladeji Israel Victor, PRO, Olaniyi Victor (today), Friday, 8th December 2023  as a critical step for students to complete their National Diploma (ND), working hard to prepare their projects.  


However, the students have been given guidelines and support from the department to ensure their projects meet the necessary standards.  Making it an exciting time for the students to exhibit their professional abilities. 


In a similar vein, as the students approach the project defense date, many have taken to their social media platforms to express a mix of emotions and nervousness about the process.


The release reads;


“This is to inform us that our project defense has been moved from the 19th and 20th to the 13th and 14th of December 2023”


“For those of us that were told to make use of handwriting in writing their project should go and meet their supervisor so it can be rushed for them”

OSPOLY Mgt Schedules Date for DPT Third Semester Examination, Urges Students To Pay School Fees

  By:Ademola Ezekiel  The Management of Osun State polythenic(OSPOLY),Iree scheduled Monday 18th,2023 for the commencement of the Daily Part Time (DPT) Program Third Semester Examination. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today,12th March 2023 by the Director of the Part Time  to all Student,which Reference number is OSPOLY/IR/DPTP/DAO/VOL 2/19 signed by Mrs M.V Faniyi Furthermore,  the memo enjoined students to pay their school fees before the commencement of the examination, also urged students to visit the school website to print their examination clearance, make move to be signed by the DPT Coordinator and proceed to the Director of DPT for the same purpose on Wednesday 13th,2023. "Examination Clearance form would be sign upon presentation of school fees receipt and evidence of registration starting from today,Wednesday 13th, 2023" the memo noted Additionally, it enjoined DPT students to comply with the above directive for their own interest.

OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students For Counselling, Warns Failure to Comply Attract Sanction

 By: Mistura Mustapha The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have directed all student of the Daily Part Time (DPT) studies for mandatory counselling programme, warns that failure to comply strictly attached sanction.      This was unveiled in an internal memorandum released today, Friday 13th September, 2024 REF No: OSPOLY/SAO/89 which was signed by Mr. Oyedeji M.O, stated that it is mandatory and imperative for all DPT students both ND 1 and ND 2 to make themselves available for the exercise which is scheduled between Monday, 23rd September to Monday 28th October, 2024.             "All students are expected to undergo mandatory counselling exclude no one" memo emphasized.         Furthermore, according to the memo,  noted that time table will be drawn on Faculty basis for collection and submission of Counseling Registration forms from the counselling unit. " Please adhere strictly with this directives failure to comply will attract sanctions" memo warned
