To honor Larry's memory and express their profound grief, the President of NAMACOS and the mass communication students have organized a candlelight night, which was done today April 20, 2024. Students from various locations, including Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo, and others, have made the journey back to Iree to pay their last respects and show their love for Larry.

The candlelight night serves as a poignant tribute to Larry, allowing students to come together, share their grief, and remember their beloved friend. Larry's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt within the student community.

During the candlelight night, emotions runs high, with tears, weeping, and mourning echoing throughout the gathering. Many heartfelt songs have been composed to honor Larry's memory, intensifying the atmosphere of grief. The students gather at the main campus of Osun State Polytechnic, Ire, to commence the candlelight night and proceed to walk around Iree community, singing dirge songs.

Interestingly, a sudden change in weather occurred during the procession. As the students moved from one location to another, weeping and mourning, a strong wind blew and heavily rain began to fall in Iree Community.
