"Failure To Return Matriculation Gown Attracts N100 fine per day” - Ospoly Management Warns Students

The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has warned all Newly Admitted Students that failure to return matriculation gown attracts N100 fine per day and is also subjected to further sanction.

This was made obtainable in a memo released by the institution's Deputy Registrar (AA) to the general public with the reference number POLY/IR/ADM.05/27, dated 26th July, 2024.

The memorandum which affirmed that the matriculation ceremony for all DPT ND1 students would hold on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, by 11am at the ETF hall also expressed that academic gowns will be available for collection from the faculty officers from Monday, 29th of July, 2024.

However, the memo warned that all academic gowns collected for the ceremony should be returned unfailingly to the faculty officers before the close of work on Thursday 1st of August, 2024.

“Failure to return the Gown by any student shall attract a fine of N100,00 per day of default; this is also subject to upward review and further sanctions” the memo declared
