OSPOLY Rector Welcomes Newly DPT Students, Admonishes them to Shun Forms of Anti-social Behavior

The Rector of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Mr. Kehinde Alabi has welcomed the newly admitted Students of Daily Part-Time and admonished Students to take their primary objective serious and shun all forms of anti-social behavior in the institution.

He made this known today, Tuesday 30th of July, 2024 while delivering speech at the Daily Part-Time(DPT) Program 2023/2024 academic session Matriculation ceremony which was held at ETF Hall.

Furthermore, in his remark, he made it known that the students primary objective in the institution is to learn, acquire knowledge, skills and experience which will make them a leading member of the society and also highlighted extraneous things that can distract Students achieving their goals which include examination malpractice, fighting and gossiping, stealing and ranging from cultism.

Moreso, Rector enjoined Students to partake in the new administration that focus on provision of equipment and materials at the entrepreneur Education Complex and ICT infrastructures which are available at the faculties and Department to make them compliant in line with the global practice.

" The management recently set up the Directorate of Skills Acquisition to ensure that students are trained in the required skills that will make them useful in life" Rector noted

Similarly, He stated that New Directorate of Career Service Development has been established to guide the career path of the students to make them be compliant of work.

"All these are geared towards all raising an all round Individual who will be an asset to the society" Rector emphasized

However, He advised the Students that the Students Affairs Directorate office and his office is open at all time for  complaints and all issue presented Shall be treated with utmost confidentiality.
