" NO RECORD OF DEATH, OUR STUDENTS ARE SAFE" OSPOLY REGISTRAR, OLOYEDE REASSURES PARENT ON STUDENT'S SAFETY

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have reassured parents and guardians on students' safety following a conflict between two rival groups of students on Tuesday 8th of April,2025.

According to the Registrar, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, "Our campus is calm, and normal administrative and academic activities are in progress. Students are going on with their lectures and other academic engagements, while staffs are going about their administrative duties."

However , Oloyede noted that the Anti-Cultism Squad of the Nigeria Police and other security operatives are fully employed to prevent any suspected crisis.

"Our students are safe," Oloyede emphasized. "We urge parents and guardians not to entertain any fear, as there is no cause for alarm."

Two students who sustained minor injuries during the conflict have been treated and discharged from the school's clinic.

The polytechnic's management is working to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all students.
