The Coordinator of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Mass Communication program at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr. Adewumi Temitope, has cautioned ND1 students against engaging in indecent dressing and alcohol consumption on campus.

Mr. Adewunmi gave this warning on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, while addressing newly admitted DPT students at Hall 4, Koko Campus.

He emphasized strict adherence to the institution’s dress code, especially on Mondays and Wednesdays when corporate dress is mandatory.

“Any student found violating this rule will not be allowed into lectures,” he firmly stated.

In addition to enforcing the dress code, Mr. Adewunmi also warned students against consuming alcohol within school premises. He noted that offenders would face severe disciplinary actions, including possible expulsion.

He assured students of his willingness to support them through any academic or personal challenges and encouraged them to approach him or the student executives for help.

“If you have any issue, feel free to reach out to me—my office is always open,” he said.

Mr. Adewunmi also stressed the importance of class leaders such as presidents, governors, and deputy governors as key liaisons between students and lecturers, urging students to respect and cooperate with them.
