Faculty of Science Clinches Victory at SUA Debate Competition

The Faculty of Science (FSC) of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) program at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has emerged as the winner of the highly anticipated Student Union Association (SUA) Debate Competition, held today, October 28, 2025,at NLH 2, Main Campus.

The debate featured intense intellectual exchanges among various faculties, with the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) taking second place, and the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) securing the third position.

The Faculty of Science impressed both judges and the audience with their articulate arguments, confident delivery, and depth of reasoning, which earned them the top spot.

FICT also delivered a compelling performance, showcasing strong critical thinking and comprehensive knowledge that earned high praise. Meanwhile, FMS demonstrated remarkable effort and clarity in their submissions, securing them a respectable third place.

An annual tradition in the institution, the SUA Debate Competition is aimed at promoting academic excellence, sharpening communication skills, and celebrating the intellectual prowess of students across faculties.

Ospoly Mgt Sets #30,000 Penalty for Late Course Registration

 BY : TOMIWA OBISESAN  The Management of Osun State Polytechnic,Iree has Noticed with Dismay that Many Students were yet to Register for 2024/2025 First Semester Course Registration and thereby Delaying the Processing of Examination Results. This was stated through an internal memorandum today 7th of August, 2025 from the Office of the Registrar Mr Abiodun Oloyede  However, the memo highlights the institution's concern over the low registration turnout, which is significantly impacting the processing of examination results. The memo, addressed to all students, stresses the importance of timely registration. It states that any student who has failed to complete their course registration by the deadline of Monday, August 4th, 2025, will be subject to a hefty penalty.  “ The late registration fee has been set at Thirty Thousand Naira (#30,000.00)” says the memo

OSPOLY MGT, Announces Second Semester Resumption Date for Part-Time Students
