Mass Communication Clinches Victory in SUA Interdepartmental Football Final

The Department of Mass Communication has emerged as the winner of the grand finale against the Department of Art and Design in the Student Union Association (SUA) Interdepartmental Championship Cup.

The thrilling final match took place today, Thursday, 30th October, at 2:00 p.m. at the institution's pavilion stadium.

The game began with high intensity from both sides, but Mass Communication took the lead early in the first half when player number 15 netted the opening goal. Not long after, player number 7 extended the lead, making it 2–0 before halftime.

In the second half, Mass Communication maintained pressure and control. Player number 6 sealed the victory with a third goal, bringing the score to 3–0.

However, the Department of Art and Design managed to earn a penalty, which they successfully converted — their only goal of the match — ending the game with a final score of 3–1.

Additionally, the goalkeeper of the Mass Communication team received a yellow card shortly before the final whistle.

Ospoly Mgt Sets #30,000 Penalty for Late Course Registration

 BY : TOMIWA OBISESAN  The Management of Osun State Polytechnic,Iree has Noticed with Dismay that Many Students were yet to Register for 2024/2025 First Semester Course Registration and thereby Delaying the Processing of Examination Results. This was stated through an internal memorandum today 7th of August, 2025 from the Office of the Registrar Mr Abiodun Oloyede  However, the memo highlights the institution's concern over the low registration turnout, which is significantly impacting the processing of examination results. The memo, addressed to all students, stresses the importance of timely registration.
