Osun State Polytechnic Alumni Association Marks 31st Anniversary with Fundraising Drive

Osun State Polytechnic Alumni Association (OSPAA) celebrates its 31st anniversary with a special program that includes fundraising for a 1,500-capacity amphitheater and a new school gate.

This program took place today 21st November, 2025. At the Educational Trust Fund (ETF) hall 

This Alumni Association, made up of graduates of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, is dedicated to providing financial and resource support for infrastructure and facilities at the institution. It also offers guidance, mentorship, and job opportunities to current students and fellow alumni.

More so, As part of the celebration, the association launched a fundraising campaign for two major projects A 1,500 capacity amphitheater worth ₦890 million and A new school gate worth ₦75 million

However, Awards were presented to recognize outstanding professional excellence and exemplary service, Honorees included the former President of the association Chief Dr Rafiu Akinpelu Olaore, Engineer Saheed Soladoye Ganiyu, Mr Isaa Adetunji Olanlokun, represented by Honorable Sola, Alaja Adijat omolola alebiosu and others

In addition the event was blessed with the present of The rector of Osun state state polytechnic Iree Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi and The school registrar Mr Abiodun O. Oloyede

Furthermore, management had decided to disengage all Part-Time/Contract staff members with effect from Friday, 31st January, 2025 . Ospoly Mgt Sets #30,000 Penalty for Late Course Registration

 BY : TOMIWA OBISESAN  The Management of Osun State Polytechnic,Iree has Noticed with Dismay that Many Students were yet to Register for 2024/2025 First Semester Course Registration and thereby Delaying the Processing of Examination Results. This was stated through an internal memorandum today 7th of August, 2025 from the Office of the Registrar Mr Abiodun Oloyede  However, the memo highlights the institution's concern over the low registration turnout, which is significantly impacting the processing of examination results. The memo, addressed to all students, stresses the importance of timely registration. It states that any student who has failed to complete their course registration by the deadline of Monday, August 4th, 2025, will be subject to a hefty penalty.  “ The late registration fee has been set at Thirty Thousand Naira (#30,000.00)” says the memo

OSPOLY MGT, Announces Second Semester Resumption Date for Part-Time Students
