New Development: NAMACOS Executives Presents White marker Board to DPT Mass Comm. Department

By: Boluwaji Daso The National Association of Mass Communication Students (NAMACOS) of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Program, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, under the leadership of the President, Hon. Com. Oladeji Israel Victor has Presented two Newly purchased White marker Boards for the ND1 while it also donated one to the ND2 Students.  The presentation occurred today, Monday, 26th of June, 2023 at the ND1 building, Hall 3, Koko campus.  While appreciating the association, the Coordinator of the Department, Mrs Ighehin Omobolaji gave accolades to the NAMACOS Executives 2022/2023 academic session for creating the development and noted that the Executives are doing their best to ensure students' academic activities in the Institution are productive.  She however emphasized that the project is done by the association through the payment of the departmental annual dues while she advised the students to ensure they pay their annual dues to avoid challenges during their examination period.

“Failure To Return Matriculation Gown Attracts N500 fine per day” - Ospoly Management Warns Students

By: Boluwaji Daso The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has warned all Newly Admitted Students that failure to return matriculation gown attracts N500 fine per day and is also subjected to further sanction. This was made obtainable in a memo released by the institution's Directorate of Academic Affairs with the reference number POLY/IR/ADM.05/26, dated 22nd June 2023. The memorandum which affirmed that the matriculation ceremony for all DPT ND1 students would hold on Thursday, July 6th, 2023, by 11 am at the ETF hall also expressed that academic gowns will be available for collection from the faculty officers from Friday, 4th of July, 2023. OSPOLY Management Announces DPT Matriculation Date for 2022/2023 Academic Session

By: Boluwaji Daso The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has declared Thursday, 6th of July, 2023, as the matriculation ceremony day for the 2022/2023 academic Session. This was unveiled in an internal memorandum with the reference number POLY/IR/ADM.05/26 which was released to the general public today, 22nd of June, 2023.  According to the memo, the matriculation ceremony would hold at the institutions ETF hall at exactly 11 am.  Similarly, the memo addressed that  any student who fails to register and consequently does not matriculate forfeits his/her admission and studentship. However, all the newly admitted (ND1) students of the Daily part-time program are urged to complete their registrations on or before Wednesday, 5th of July, 2023, as failure to do so shall attract a penalty.  The memo reads in full;  “PART-TIME STUDENTS' MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION.” This is to inform all Part-Time students that the Matriculation Ceremony for 2022/2023 Ac

By: Boluwaji Daso The Management of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Program, Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has warned all DPT students to make payments of their school fees for the 2022/2023 academic session before the stipulated time to avoid #10,000 penalty fee.   This was made known in an internal memo pasted on the notice board today by the bursary department, dated, 13th June, 2023 with the reference number OSPOLY/BUR/35/VI/069 in Koko Campus.  The memo emphasized that some students are yet to pay their tuition fees and however, directed all concerned students to ensure they make payments of their school fees on or before Friday 30th of June, 2023 to avoid a #10,000 sanction by the management of the institution.  

SUA Commences Football Competition; OTM, ELECT-ELECT Draw-Match

Ojewale Kehinde Kabeerat has commenced her Interdepartmental Football-Competition for the 2022/2023 academic session.        The excitement was discernable today of the novelty match between Office Technology Management And Electrical Electronics Department. Both teams had been practicing for weeks and were energetic to show off their skills on the field. The match was held in the institution Pavilion in Koko campus today, 5th of June, 2023, and the stands were packed with cheering fans and staff from the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Program in OSPOLY, all eager to watch the match as the game began in a clear atmosphere after the referee blew the whistle. MSSN Creates Awareness: Adebari Urges Students to Refrain from Indecency

By: Boluwaji Daso The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Iree Chapter, has created an awareness of the Society in the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Program  environment at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, urged all students to abstain from all acts of indecency.   This was made known during the awareness of the society which was held, today, Thursday, 1st June 2023 at the Institution entrance in Koko Campus, Iree Community.   The Ameer,  Abdulazeez Adebari  represented by the Public Relations Officer of the Society, Abdulmalik Lawal emphasized that Muslim student's indecent dressing in society is unethical and noted that they should abstain from the act.  “The dress code of most of the students is not encouraging because most of the students just dress as they like, not dressing religiously” he stated Furthermore, he charged the students  to be focused on the primary pursuit of their studentship which is to study and graduate successfully in their chosen areas of ambition.  In a recen
