Mass Communication Clinches Victory in SUA Interdepartmental Football Final

 By : Tomiwa Obisesan The Department of Mass Communication has emerged as the winner of the grand finale against the Department of Art and Design in the Student Union Association (SUA) Interdepartmental Championship Cup. The thrilling final match took place today, Thursday, 30th October, at 2:00 p.m. at the institution's pavilion stadium. The game began with high intensity from both sides, but Mass Communication took the lead early in the first half when player number 15 netted the opening goal. Not long after, player number 7 extended the lead, making it 2–0 before halftime. In the second half, Mass Communication maintained pressure and control. Player number 6 sealed the victory with a third goal, bringing the score to 3–0. However, the Department of Art and Design managed to earn a penalty, which they successfully converted — their only goal of the match — ending the game with a final score of 3–1. The SUA Quiz Competition, held on Monday, October 27th, 2025, at NLH 2, and the Debate Competition, held on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, featured students from various faculties. The debate featured intense intellectual exchanges among various faculties, with the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) taking second place, and the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) securing the third position. OSPOLY Issues Security Alert, Advises Students to Stay Indoors from 9 p.m

 By : Tomiwa Obisesan The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY) has announced a security warning to the entire polytechnic community, urging students to stay indoors from 9:00 p.m. daily due to potential threats in Iree and its environment.  This was stated through an internal memorandum today 7th of October 2025 and also signed by R. I. Adebayo on behalf of the Registrar.
