OSPOLY Announces Commencement of 2025/2026 Second Semester Course Registration on Xerxes App

 By: Israel Asani  The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has directed the students to begin their second semester course registration for the 2025/2026 academic session via the institution’s official Xerxes App. In a memorandum issued today 4th, September 2026 by the Office of the Deputy Rector, and also signed by Dr. G.O. Oyeleke. The management emphasized the importance of timely registration and urged students to ensure that all registered courses are correctly reflected on their profiles. “This information should be treated as important and complied with accordingly” the memo stated. The memo further instructed students experiencing difficulties during the registration process to report promptly to their respective Heads of Department for assistance.

In an internal memorandum released today 10th August, 2026 also signed by Registrar Abiodun O. In an internal memorandum issued today 7th August, 2026. And also Signed by the Registrar Mr Abiodun O.  By: Israel Asani  The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has Issued a Directive Prohibiting the Activities of all Paramilitary Groups within the Institution, Citing Concerns over Peace, Safety, and Order on Campus. In an internal memorandum signed by the Registrar, Abiodun O. Oloyede, the institution warned that unauthorized groups such as Man ‘O’ War, Opiaka, Cadet, and NDLEA must cease operations immediately. The memo emphasized that only officially recognized security outfits are permitted to handle matters relating to law and order. “All paramilitary groups are totally banned from operating on campus and all cases of students’ crises or security concerns must be reported immediately to the Security Office and the Directorate of Student Affairs,” the memo stated. Osun State Polytechnic Iree Sets July 13 for Resumption of Daily Part-Time Lectures

 By: Israel Asani Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced the resumption of lectures for Daily Part-Time students in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, with a reminder that compliance with the mandatory 75 percent attendance requirement is expected. In an internal memorandum dated July 9, 2026, the Directorate of All Part-Time Programmes informed students that resumption begins on Monday, July 6, 2026, while lectures are scheduled to commence on Monday, July 13, 2026. However, The memo, signed by Adeyanju Tunji on behalf of the Director of All Part-Time Programmes, emphasized the importance of punctuality and consistent attendance, reminding students that maintaining at least 75% attendance is compulsory for academic success. In addition, The Directorate expressed optimism for a productive semester, wishing students a “blissful academic session” and thanking them for their cooperation.

  By: Israel Asani  The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has Announced the Postponement of the Ongoing 1st Semester 2025/2026 Examinations for Daily Part-Time (DPT) Students, Rescheduling them to Wednesday, June 24, 2026. This was made known through an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Deputy Rector on Friday, June 19, 2026. The Deputy Rector’s office explained that the rescheduled date would give students additional time to prepare adequately for their papers. However, the memo emphasized that further updates regarding the examinations would be communicated in due course. In addition, Students have been urged to make good use of the extended period to intensify their studies and ensure readiness ahead of the new examination schedule.

By: Precious Adeoti The Directorate of All Part-Time Programmes Dr M.O Olaleye, has officially announced that the Daily Part-Time (DPT) First Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session will commence on Monday, June 8, 2026, with all courses conducted through Computer-Based Examination (CBE). He made this known today June 1st, 2026, through an internal memorandum, signed by the Rector, deputy rector and the school Registrar  Dr. M.O. Olaleye, directed all coordinators to urgently submit soft copies of their course materials for upload. The submission process is scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on June 2, 2026, through Mr. Olalekan Adekunle, Director of Career Services.

By: Precious Adeoti The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has Announced the Official Commencement of the 2025/2026 Academic Session for all Daily Part-Time Students.  This disclosure was made in an internal memorandum released on 9th February, 2026. And also signed by the  Registrar, Mr Abiodun O. Oloyede. According to the memo, academic activities for all daily  part-time students has began on February 9, 2026. And all newly admitted students are expected to commence registration without delay.  “You are hereby advised to register your courses online and submit your files at your respective faculties on time” the memo stated. In addition, the management warned that excuses for late registration will not be entertained, stressing the importance of adhering to deadlines to ensure smooth academic operations.  

Osun State Polytechnic Announces Festive Break for Christmas and New Year

This announcement was made today 18th, December 2025, through an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by Mr Abiodun O. Oloyede.  The memo was addressed to the entire Polytechnic community and emphasized the institution’s commitment to allowing its members to enjoy the holiday season. “The essence of the break is to enable both staff and students to enjoy the Christmas and New Year festive seasons,” the memo stated. However, The Polytechnic is expected to reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026, marking the resumption of academic and administrative activities. This program took place today 21st November, 2025. OSPOLY Mgt warns final year students against sign out fiesta celebration on campus

 By : Asani Israel   The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has officially banned the celebration of the sign-out fiesta for all final-year students across all programs for the 2024/2025 academic session. This directive was announced today, 16th September 2025, through an internal memorandum and also signed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abiola O. L. Furthermore, the memo emphasized that there must be no sign out fiesta at the end of the second semester examinations for the 2024/2025 academic session within the school premises. “Any student caught engaging in the act will face serious disciplinary sanctions” The memo stated  In addition, the Dean urged all concerned students to comply with the directive, noting that adequate security measures have been put in place to apprehend any individual or group who may flout the instruction.

OSPOLY Mgt Announces Extension for Registration with Late Fee

 By : Asani Israel  The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has approved the Reopening of the Registration Portal for Daily Part-Time students, with a Late Registration fee of #15,000. This was made known today, November 11, 2025, through an internal memorandum signed by the school registrar Mr Abiodun O. Oloyede  According to the memo, the management has received numerous requests from students who were unable to complete their registration within the stipulated time. In response, the institution has graciously agreed to reopen the portal for those who missed the deadline. To facilitate this extended opportunity, a late registration fee of ₦15,000 will be charged. This fee is required to grant access to the portal. All affected students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this window and complete their registration without further delay.

DPT Director Warns Students: No Exam Without Proper Clearance Stamp

 By : Israel Asani  The Director of the Daily Part-Time Program Mr MO Olaleye, has issued a warning to all students regarding the examination clearance process.  This was made known today, 6th November 2025, through an internal memorandum and also signed by Mr. Oyesowo Lawrence. According to the memorandum, only the Director of the Daily Part-Time Program is authorized to sign and stamp the examination clearance forms. Any student who fails to obtain the proper signature and stamp will not be permitted to sit for the upcoming examinations. In addition, It noted that all students are therefore urged to take the necessary steps to ensure their clearance forms are signed and stamped by the Director. Compliance with this directive is mandatory for access to the examination hall.
