OSPOLY Management Announces CAT, ACAT Training Dates for DPT, Full-Time Students

By: Boluwaji Daso The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has officially announced to all students of the institution in the National Diploma 2 (ND2 DPT, ND2 Full-time) and National Certificate in Education 3 (NCE 3) programs about the upcoming 'Advanced Computer Application Training (ACAT)' and 'Computer Application Training (CAT)' sessions. According to a memo obtained by our correspondent on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, (today) with reference number; OSPOLY/DICT/48/22 and signed by Salako R. J., firmly expressed that the CAT and ACAT have been scheduled to take place during the following dates: Monday, October 16th to Friday, October 20th, 2033, as well as Monday, October 30th to Friday, November 3rd, 2023. “Failure to Comply Would Attract Official Payment of #10,000 Penalty Fee”-OSPOLY Mgt Directs DPT Students To Submit Dossiers Before Friday

By: Boluwaji Daso The Management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has instructed all National Diploma 2 (ND2) Students of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) program to submit their Dossier to their respective Faculty officers no later than the close of work on Friday, October 13, 2023.    The management in a public release yesterday, Tuesday, Oct 10th, 2023 emphasized that the deadline for submission is final and will not be extended. Students are urged to prioritize the collection and organization of their academic records to ensure a smooth and timely submission process. The penalty fee of ten thousand naira (₦10,000) has been established as an official consequence for late submission stressing that the fee aims to enforce the importance of adhering to deadlines and to encourage students to take the submission process seriously. Alabetutu Akorede, has called upon all ND1 and ND2  Students to promptly submit their files and complete their medical examinations.  Akorede while addressing the students today, Oct.11th 2023, encouraged them to initiate the process of submitting their files as soon as possible. He stressed that the submission of files is a crucial step in ensuring the successful completion of their academic requirements.  Additionally, the president emphasized the importance of the medical examination, as a prerequisite for ND students. Office Technology and Management Students Fumes Over Lack of Writing Board

BY: Boluwaji Daso The National Diploma (ND1) students pursuing Office Technology and Management at the Daily Part-Time program, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have expressed their frustration and disappointment over the lack of a dedicated writing board in their department. The students, who have chosen Office Technology and Management (OTM) as their field of study to develop essential skills, believe that the absence of a new writing board has severely impacted their education noting that the old one is severely damaged. However, the board is an indispensable tool for conducting group discussions, brainstorming sessions, and visualizing concepts through diagrams and flowcharts. Some of the students who spoke with NEB under anonymity today, 3rd October, 2023 lamented the lack of a writing Board, which has made it hard for them to comprehend what lecturers enunciated sometimes during lectures.
