Com. Oladeji Israel Victor has Presented two New Public Address System (P.A.S) for the ND1 while it also donated one to the ND2 Students.  The presentation which occurred during the MAC 111 lecture at the ND1 building was unveiled today, Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, at Hall 3, Koko campus.  While expressing his appreciation for the association, the Head of Department, Dr Tope Abiola gave accolades to the NAMACOS Executives 2022/2023 academic session for creating the development and noted that the Executives are doing their best to ensure student's academic activities in the Institution yield productivity which he said he endorsed.  In an interview with NEB Correspondence, the President of the Association, Com. By: Emmanuel Olaoye The Director of Examinations of Osun State Polytechnic, iree, Dr Adewoyin A.O has warned all the ND1 Students of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Program to desist from all forms of examination malpractice. This he made known today, 17th of May, 2023 while addressing the students during the orientation program that was organized to enlighten them by the management of the institution. In his speech at the Orientation, Dr Adewoyin emphasized "Examination Malpractice; effects on students" and stressed that examination malpractice is a means by which students bypass to pass an examination. Additionally, he charged the students to attend classes and attempt their assignments when due. He also encouraged them to be good ambassadors for their parents and the institution. By: Boluwaji Daso         Mass Communication HOD: Dr Tope Abiola The Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Dr Tope Abiola, has denounced all forms of extortion and issued a warning to the ND2 Daily Part-Time (DPT) students on project indiscipline. Tope Abiola while addressing the ND2 Students in their classroom at Koko campus today, Tuesday, 16th of May, 2023, made it known that there is currently no form of extortion in the department and it will not be accepted in any way, particularly extortions connected to the student's final year project.  In an effort to start the final-year project, the HOD charged the students that it is unethical to pay any money to a lecturer to supervise a project. He also proclaimed that any kind of payment to any staff member was also outlawed. Moreso, he cautioned the students against any form of appointment to a cyber cafe by any project supervisor. “We'll Come To Class But No Lectures” DPT Students Decry

By: Namacos Editorial Board  Some Students of the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Program of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have decried the persistence of no lectures over a couple of weeks in the institution.  Scores of the students who reside in the Iree community vented their frustration on social media about showing up to class yet no lectures.  Max of the students, explained how their academic career has been affected and how it costs them finances to ride motorcycles, otherwise known as Okadas, to class every day without engaging in any intellectual activity. “ I can’t even imagine what is going on in this school. D.A.O, Faniyi Urges Students, Says “Late Registration Attract #10,000 Fee”

By: Boluwaji Daso The Directorate Affairs Officer (D.A.O) of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mrs Faniyi M.V. has urged all ND1 students to complete their screening registration, file submission and the Payment of school fees. Noted that late registration attracts the sum of ten thousand nairas (#10,000). This she stated today, at the FICT Orientation program in hall 4 Mass Communication building at the Koko campus. Faniyi stressed that any of the concerned students who failed to register or make the stipulated school fee payment on time will pay a penalty fee of N10,000. In her remarks, “Late payment will attract #10,000, pay your school fees and submit your file on time. And those who are yet to submit their file must do so without wasting time,” Additionally, she stressed that the students should focus on their primary objective of being in the institution and noted that all students must abstain from all deeds of indecency. 

OSPOLY: FSC holds Orientation Programme, Director Advises Students Over Negative Influences

The activity that was held to introduce the new students to the FSC officeholders for the 2022/2023 administration in a setting overseen by the institution's management attracted the ND1/ND2 students and took place today in Hall 10 building of the institution.
